Worship Through Music at Calder Baptist Church
Adult Choir
This choir provides leadership for congregational song and choral selections for Sunday and holiday worship services. The choir presents a variety of choral works covering the spectrum of classical to contemporary music. Membership is open to post-high school age singers and beyond. The choir rehearses each Wednesday evening beginning at 6:30 pm. The ensemble is preparing selections 3 to 5 weeks in advance of presentation, making it easy for new voices to be integrated into the group. Child care is provided. Choral Scholarships We offer choral scholarships to Lamar University students, welcoming the addition of their voices to the choir. Scholarship students are also invited to serve as hymn and warm-up rehearsal leaders. For more information about our scholarship program, please contact our Director of Music Ministry Chris Richter.
