Welcome to Calder Baptist Church!
Everyone hears those words when
visiting a new congregation. At Calder, we attempt to put that greeting into
practice.
Here you will find a welcoming environment for all family
members. Senior adults find fellowship and activity. Median adults experience
encouragement and purpose. Young adults encounter direction and support. Youth,
children, and preschoolers find a safe environment encouraging growth and
integration within God’s loving community.
For over fifty years, the Calder Baptist Church family has
opened our doors to all who earnestly seek direction in grappling with issues of
faith in the real world. We ask hard questions about the meaning of life while
providing a nurturing place for all members to serve the God who sent Jesus
Christ for all people.
The Divine Servant, a life-size bronze
sculpture, welcomes every person entering our building. In this representation
of Christ washing the feet of his disciple, Peter, we see the command of God for
all followers. We hope you will consider becoming a part of our family – to know
God better and to serve others with us.
Our regular schedule includes Church School for all
ages on Sundays beginning at 9:15am and the Sunday Worship Service following at
10:30. Each Wednesday become part of the Family Night Fellowship at Calder by
joining us for church-wide supper being served from 5:00-6:00 throughout the
year. Prayers and a Devotional follow, with dismissal at 6:30.
