Schedule and Classes

Adult Bible Study Classes
Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 a.m.

Faith Class

  • A service-oriented, community-minded group of women, many born in the 1940s and 1950s.

  • Four ladies rotate serving as the lead teacher.


Fellowship Class

  • A group for men - predominantly comprised of individuals at various stages in their professional lives.

  • Our pastor serves as the lead teacher.


Journey Class

  • A diverse adult group ranging in age primarily from mid-40s into their 70s – many couples and some singles.

  • A local attorney (and enthusiastic grandfather) serves as the long-standing lead teacher.


Mixed Doubles Class

  • A diverse mix of couples born primarily from the 1920s through the 1950s.

  • A local attorney serves as the lead teacher.


Encouragers Class

  • A gathering of active senior adults who value the application of Scripture within the context of contemporary life.

  • A local attorney serves as the lead teacher with a retired professor as a permanent sub.​

Adult Seminars

  • Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:00 p.m. (Sept.-May)

  • Each selected topic typically covers a 3 to 5 week period.

  • We utilize lectures, group discussions, and/or video presentations to facilitate learning and faith exploration.

  • Check the calendar (within this website) for the current seminar topic.
     

Young Women's Bible Study

  • Alternating Sunday Evenings from 5:00-6:30 PM, please check Events page and browse the Calder Caller to find the exact dates.

  • The group discusses a different theme or topic each meeting that explores how our faith could or should shape our perspectives. 

  • Please ask to join our Facebook group where topics and questions are shared for the meeting. We would love to have you!
     

Roundtable Book Club

  • Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 9:45 a.m. 

  • One presenter provides a thorough review of a recent book. Selected titles frequently spark theological reflection and promote enthusiastic dialogue. Contact the church office (409) 892-4251 for information on the next review.
